1﹑Material Summary and Applications

321 is austenitic corrosion resistant stainless steel. After Ti is added, it has a higher resistance to intergranular corrosion, but it still can’t overcome the   edge corrosion after welding and poor surface quality defects.

Good resistance to corrosion in some organic acid and mineral acid of different density and different temperature.

It commonly used in the manufacture of acid containers and equipment of any lining pipeline. Also it used in large boiler superheater, reheater, steam pipesheat exchangers for petrochemical and other corrosion resistance parts and welded components.
