304L is super low carbon austenitic type stainless steel.  Excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. No knife corrosion tendency in heat-affected zone during welding.

Good resistance to strong corrosive medium (nitric acid, inorganic acid, phosphoric acid, alkali and so on)

Good mechanical property in low temperature. Good cold deformation, deep drawing, machining, and welding.

It is suitable for petrochemical equipment parts, specially for welding parts which can’t be done heat treatment after welding.
