1﹑Material Summary and Applications

S15500 is precipitation martensite stainless steel. High strength, hardness and excellent corrosion resistance. Have good mechanical properties at 316℃  and below. S15500 stainless steel is used in the oil and gas industry, food processing, paper and general metal manufacturing industry.

4﹑Corrosion Resistance

4.1  S15500 corrosion resistance is superior to 430 and 431, similar to the 174PH stainless steel. Like other precipitation hardening stainless steel, when   long exposure in the marine atmosphere, its surface will gradually rust.

5、Available Size Range for seamless pipes and tubes

OD 6 ～ 168mm
